Here’s a quick thought I just jotted down in Day One:
I keep telling myself I need to dump all of my thoughts into this app before dumping it somewhere else. I don’t know why I don’t more, but I always find it gratifying when I do.
I was browsing Day One’s Twitter account this morning and noticed a cool little short cut to write quick movie reviews and I think about the number of things I could catalog in Day One. Those things I could always transfer out at my leisure after the fact.
Another small benefit, as my Apple Watch just reminded me to breathe: Journalling in Day One counts towards my “mindful minutes” for the day. Anything to filter out the mental garbage I accumulate throughout the day, right?
At the end of the day, I feel like it’s about processing my thoughts in as healthy of a way I can find.
