The Seattle Times released their 2019 Seattle Mariners season preview today. Beyond the look at what to expect for the upcoming season and what went into the offseason rebuild this past winter, the article features Lego sculptures throughout. Put together by Seattle-area artists Dan Parker and Michael Gilliam, their artwork is feature throughout the article, with it being stop-motion animated on the online version.
From the Seattle Times:
Early in the preview’s planning process, when it was clear the Mariners were focusing on a rebuild this season, doing LEGO bricks for a style was something that clicked. Parker, who has professionally created custom LEGO art pieces for more than 20 years, offered to help.
