Preview: Lincoln Stars v. The United States Developmental Team

Let’s get this out of the way first; the Lincoln Stars are a bad hockey team. With the United States Developmental Team coming in to Lincoln this weekend, this increases the likelihood of fireworks on the scoreboard.

The USDT is made up of some of the top high school aged players in the country, many of which recently played in the IIHF World Junior Championships, where the United States earned a silver medal. Many of these players are also likely to be drafted in the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft in Vancouver this summer.
